MAY / JUNE 2023 FARM CLUB NEWSLETTER

 

We are planning our 2023 show “Old Machinery Days”. As a reminder the show dates are September 14th-17th and we are featuring “Baker” This year is their 100th anniversary.

 

We would love to see more people get involved with helping with the show. There is ALWAYS something to do!

Our next club meeting is July 9th at the Murdoch Presbyterian Church, 9602 Murdoch Goshen Road at 6pm. COME AND JOIN US!

 

We are still accepting applications for our Jump Start Program, for club members children ages 14-18 years old. Please visit our club website, www.thefarmclub.org for the application and requirements, or contact Jim Hurst at 513-623-4183 or 513-877-2765 for more information. This is a great opportunity for your children to get involved.

 

Our Tractor Trek tractor ride is Saturday June 17th. Please meet at the “Old Mill” in Clarksville, 401 West Main, no later than 9am. This is a 40-mile ride through Warren and Clinton Counties. The cost will be $25 for tractor and driver, $15 for adult rider on the wagon, and $8 for children. Children 5 and under will be free. This includes: a morning coffee break, lunch, and an ice cream social at the end of the ride. Come on out and enjoy the fun! July 4th is coming up and that means INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADES!!!!!

 

CLUB EVENTS:

July 1st: Bryson’s 4th of July Parade in Morrow   Line up at 10am at Little Miami- Salem elementary School   Parade begins at 11 am.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                July 3rd- Lebanon’s 4th of July Parade. Staging area begins at 3pm along Oakwood and Water St. behind Berry.  Parade begins at 4pm. NO CANDY THROWING.

 

July 4th- Hamilton Township Freedom Parade   Line up at 9 am at Maineville Elementary School, 373 East Foster Maineville Road. Parade begins at 10am and ends at Testerman Park.

 

Maybe you can do all of these parades since they are on different days!!!!
